Der GLP Impression X5 IP ist eine LED-Leiste mit IP65-Bewertung und eignet sich daher sowohl für den Innen- als auch den Außenbereich. Sie verfügt über 40W RGBL-LEDs, insgesamt 18 Stück. Darüber hinaus bietet der Impression X5 IP einen breiten Zoom-Bereich. Dank ihres quadratischen Linsendesigns kann sie selbst bei einem Winkel von nur 4,5° eine erhebliche Menge Licht erzeugen und bietet gleichmäßige Waschungen bis zum weitesten Zoom von 60°. Der GLP Impression X5 IP verfügt über schnelle Neigungsbewegungen und eine nahtlose Pixelabstände zwischen mehreren Geräten.
